We took a trip to one of our local animal sanctuary near Miami, the Safari Edventure in Homestead, Florida.
In this facility they take care of the animals with the money they get from donations and most of their food is donated by Whole Foods Miami. They eat better than us!
During our private tour we heard the stories on how some locals irresponsibly buy exotic animals only to find out that they do not belong in homes, they belong in their habitat.
Watch the video here:
Instead of releasing them to the wild, they bring them to Safari Edventure where they can be take care of. The best part is that in this sanctuary in Florida, you can meet the animals while contributing to a good cause.
Prepare to get messy...
Pay a visit and you’ll be able to:
*Pet puppy wolves, sloths, and porcupines.
*Meet a kangaroo.
*Feed a gator, foxes, baby pigs
Contribute to the cause!
